Which deck would you bet on to win worlds this year?

Main Post:

I feel like Greninja can come out on top and do some cinderella story like run in worlds this year.

It's inconsistent, but it's a good deck that is positioned well. It has decent matchups against top tier decks such as Gardevoir, Volcanion, Metagross, and even garbodor.

If it manages to dodge grass decks, we could probably see some redemption from the frog for last year's second place bow.

What are your thoughts? Which deck would you place your money on? Which deck do you wanna see succeed in this year's worlds?

Up until Gardevoir, I'd have said Garbodor

Does the early-game or aggro deck bet on going first

... and should the "going second" benefit change because of it?

Asus ROG Ally vs Steam Deck? I Bet on the Steam Deck Coming Ahead and Here's Why

I'm glad more articles are starting to wake up to the lack of trackpads on these Deck competitors.

Does the gaming media play AAA games exclusively, or, that it's taken this long? Anything that needs a mouse is a non-starter without trackpads; the joysticks just aren't up to that task.

Deck investment

Main Post:

Because the secondary market is expensive and Vanguard isn't as cheap as it used to be, rather the supply isn't as prominent.

Which deck should I invest in?

Narukami - I have the base for Vanquisher I would only need the new stuff from set 12

Kagero - I have the base for Blademaster so again I would need new stuff + Taiten (only stride I didn't get a chance to pick up)

Nubatama - I have a few core cards for Shiranui but that's about it. The base can be established from 2 TD's though.

I like all 3 clans/ decks. I have owned them in the past and I enjoyed playing all 3. But to keep expenses under control I only want to invest in 1 of the 3.

What's your guys' opinion?

What has best longevity of the 3? Meaning it will always be fun to play and can compete. I'm not saying GC or Nightrose level abomination compete. More like it will still have fight left in it if it doesn't get any support for a year (I.e similar to AqF, it can compete but it hasn't been supported in so long that it can somewhat keep up in the top 8's once in a while).

In terms of longevity , I'd say Kagero, because they will always be a clan that gets steady support . Set 11 and then set 13 later on for example . As well , in terms of competitiveness , for a large portion of 2016 as you know, Overlords was prominent. It is lacking currently in a few areas tho , but this isunderstandable given the power creep this game has . Not really fond of Blademasters tho. And with the new SP Taiten coming out, the RRR will go down in value making the stride more accessible for more ppl .

Narukami support before FC and set 12 was quite lacklustre , that being said , Hardrod is pretty broken . I don't think their support is as steady as Kagero's though tbh .

Nuba i see as a fad that will last only for a few months after its support , then fade into obscurity .

In terms of fun , I'll leave that up to you , but if I had to choose .. Kagero > Naru > Nuba .

Or just wait for Aqua , cause it's fun too :p

Thunder Prime Time Game against the Lakers on deck?

Main Post:

Looking at the sports betting lines, the game on February 7th against the Lakers is the favorite for LeBron to pass Kareem's Scoring Title. There is basically a 100% chance that game will be nationally broadcast if he has a shot at it that game. Getting the Thunder in Prime Time against the Lakers would be huge for us, considering Shai has had some huge games against the Lakers last season.

On ESPN, tickets for that game at the Crypto.com Arena run as low as $359. Yeah, that game finna be huge.
